The Footscray Technical School opened its doors in 1916 at the Footscray Nicholson campus, with Charles Archibald Hoadley as Principal and about 200 students.
The Ballarat Road Campus opens as the Footscray Technical School Senior School, with the Junior School remaining at Nicholson Street. Building A was the first building constructed.
